Focus on the Roses

 The path to write this book chapter was full of challenges, all messed up with exhaustion, its you write or you leave, so I wrote in the mess, then got major corrections edited by Proffesors, then its you revise or you leave, so I revised in the mess, submited and leave all to my Lord, He knows what we don't and finally my chapter Nurturing Teacher Resilience for Teacher Wellbeing in Stressful times: From Surviving to Thriving was accepted and published...Alhamdulillah .. how ironic behind the scene..roses or thorns? I feel its roses with thorns but focus on the roses🌹

Stay Grounded and Show up

 Life is a test filled with many levels, life is a book filled with many chapters and life is a season filled with many changes. No matter how hard the test, chapters, and changes, always stay grounded in God and show up for Him and He will bless with the sustenance of the soul.

An amazing gift from an amazing daughter who drew and coloured with deep passion. Truly its an expression of her strength revealing her resilience in the midst of her emotional hardship. She is managing well to  balance and being aligned with her attachment to God as she is able to keep her momentum by turning her struggling moments to rewarding moments. By accepting, moving forward with self compassion &  emotional  resilience, she continues the legacy of living by her values that aspire and inspire as an etraordinary educator by moving forward with deep trust and strong efforts as God helps and guides her to stay balanced to be aligned in His Great Care🤍

Welcome 2024

Sharing my personal reflections as I welcome 2024. It marks 30 years of teaching experience, 10 years of going through struggles being a single parent, 10 years networking with my Turkish counterparts and now moving forward to a new workplace for personal and professional development. Let God lead us. Submit and accept Him and He will move us in His direction. Be content with Him and He will open ways for us and fill us to ease our journey of life. Be His and let Him lead. Its so amazing as He leads in His own unique design and indeed we are His beautiful masterpiece. Look forward each day as a door of blessings, seek God and call on to Him, He will guide us on His path where we will feel ease and peace

Being Authentic

 Situations in life may not be as we expect or as we like, so when we face situations that are not as our expectations, learn to accept and keep being authentic, be ourselves and keep moving. We don't have to struggle to fit in as each one of us has own needs, aims and expectations in life.  If we still try to fit in, it will only cause hurt, so try to make the best of what we can offer from our side, just be authentic and watch how beautiful you can unfold the moments by God's grace for JUST BEING YOU.

Our Pathways Crossed for a Beautiful Reason

A takeaway message for all my dear students, 

Each time when I get a better opportunity to teach in a new university, the most heartbreaking moments is leaving my students. Each one of you has a special place in my heart as it is truly a blessing to know you and I am deeply grateful. I have learned alot from you all. Our journey of life is always filled with amazing moments because in the hurtful moments there are healing moments, in the unpleasant moments, there are pleasant moments. Our pathways crossed for a beautiful reason. God knows what we don't, so stay beautiful, stay focused and keep moving to achieve our aims in life. Life can be a beautiful journey if we learn to appreciate all the blessings God grant us and turn our threats into challenges to build resilience as we keep the momentum. In your journey as a student, running after high grades should not be your focus and learning to be a good person who practices respect, kindness, honesty and all the good attributes should be your focus. May God grant you success in this world and in the hereafter. Thank you for your beautiful prayers, kind words and amazing support. Aameen to all your prayers. If we are not destined to meet again in this world, may we meet in the beautiful gardens of Jannatul Firdaus. Aameen.

Stay Beautiful and Keep Moving

Being attached to life's aims helps us to stay connected with our dreams. There may be lots of distractions when we meet people who don't understand our mission.  They may side track us, so just focus on our aims to keep moving. Place our hope in God and not in humans as God never disappoints us. We get disappointed when we are not able to get what we want, but as we submit to God's will, He will definitely give us what we need, so stay beautiful and keep moving.

Trust the Process

Along the journey of our lives, we may turn to a pathway that makes us unable to move to achieve our aims in life. We may be stuck as we are not able to grow. At these times, never waste our energy and time to seek validation from others and to give explanation to them, just keep moving to achieve our aims in life. There is wisdom behind the situation and when we focus on our aims, we are able to see why God places us in the situation. We may not like the situation, but we can learn from the unpleasantness that can make us more inspired to achieve our aims. Hope and trust in God along the process, never get attached to people who never understands us and also places that can drain our energy and inspiration. Keep moving by focusing on our aims and eventually God will definitely open a new pathway that directs us to grow professionally. Hope in God and have courage to move to a better place. Trust the process, keep moving.

Compassion and Passion

 There are moments in life we get all messed up and we feel like giving up. It happens. We put too much expectations on too many people and when our expectations are not met, we loss hope. At these moments, hold on. We need compassion and passion to restart. Refocus on our aims in life. Have strong hope in God. Place our expectations on God. He is the best of the Planners. 

He knows what we need, so remember self compassion is needed to work on what we love with passion.
